Getting ready to do some other needed stuff like clean the kitchen up and decided to remove some mail that came to me recently off the dining table and in it was an envelope from my apartment management company and in it was a letter indicating that my rent would be going up. Now that I got the kitchen all cleaned up. Yep, all garbage etc has been taken to the dumpsters out back, and got all but a few plastic containers washed and stacked, got the stove cleared and wiped up. Naturally when things are up in the air, and to add to all that, my income and my rent. My rent taking up 50-60 percent of my monthly income and having to rob Peter to pay Paul, and reverse course when I can, basically doing what I can to keep my head above water. Didn't get as much done as I'd initially planned but did get a few good things accomplished nonetheless.

Got two loaves of bread at Franz Bakery in the SODO and then went to Pacific Galleries to poke around, didn't buy anything, didn't need to, but love to see what they have nonetheless. I just love that place as it carries a lot of post war ( Read more... )

Yep, after building the Beatles 3 CD, I went into the kitchen and tackled most of the dishes so the kitchen is in MUCH better shape than it was, which is ALWAYS a good thing.

Anyway, have had my ice cream and now it's time to call it a night.

Yep, was up and at it this morning by first installing SP2 for Vista 64 and something else, I forget what else. Anyway, perused the 'net some and since then have made breakfast (pancakes with eggs and bacon) and got the kitchen cleaned up though there are a few drinking vessels to wash, but I ran out of room. Yep, got the kitchen cleaned up and whipped up teh cookie dough to bake off after dinner.

Now I'm about to hop into the shower and get cleaned up, finally.

I'm going to try and get out in a bit for a time and enjoy the sunshine.

Overall, not a bad weekend at all, getting lots of little stuff done and that's sometimes what the doctor orders.
